Getting To Know Tucson Loop Bike Rentals

Welcome to Tucson Loop Bike Rentals — a locally owned bicycle rental company based in beautiful Oro Valley, Arizona and built around one simple idea: helping visitors and locals experience the Tucson Loop and Southern Arizona cycling scene in a relaxed, welcoming, and memorable way.

We specialize in:

Our goal is simple: make it easy to park, pick up a quality bicycle, and immediately enjoy some of the most scenic riding in Arizona — from the paved Tucson Loop bike path and Catalina State Park to Honey Bee Canyon and the Upper 50-Year Trail.

Unlike large corporate rental operations, Tucson Loop Bike Rentals was intentionally designed to feel personal and local. We believe great cycling experiences are about more than bicycles — they are about sunshine, scenery, coffee stops, mountain views, and discovering Tucson at your own pace.

Why We Chose Tucson

After years of Midwest winters and demanding professional careers, Pete and Rebecca Lebovitz retired to Oro Valley looking for a healthier, more adventurous lifestyle centered around cycling, outdoor living, and community.
They quickly fell in love with the Tucson Loop — one of the most unique cycling systems in the United States, offering more than 130 miles of paved car-free riding surrounded by beautiful desert scenery and year-round sunshine.
Today, Tucson Loop Bike Rentals reflects the lifestyle they were searching for themselves: slower mornings, scenic rides, local coffee shops, mountain sunsets, and helping visitors create memorable cycling experiences in Southern Arizona.

Meet Cyclist Pete

Pete Lebovitz grew up in the Chicago area and attended the University of Illinois before building a long career as an attorney. Today, Pete jokingly refers to himself as a “recovering attorney” who happily traded meetings and cold winters for bicycles, sunshine, coffee shops, and life along the Tucson Loop.

A lifelong Chicago Cubs fan, Pete especially enjoys early morning rides near Oro Valley and Catalina State Park and helping visitors discover just how enjoyable Tucson cycling can be — especially for first-time riders and winter visitors.

Pete also serves as an editorial advisor to TucsonLoop.org, helping support informational content related to Tucson cycling, local rides, and Southern Arizona bicycle tourism.

Meet Rebecca

Rebecca Lebovitz grew up in Madison, Wisconsin and graduated from the University of Wisconsin–Madison. A proud Packers fan, Rebecca brought her love for fitness, cycling, and outdoor adventure with her when she and Pete relocated to Oro Valley.

An active triathlete and passionate cyclist, Rebecca enjoys road biking, gravel riding, mountain biking, and e-bike exploration throughout Southern Arizona. She especially loves helping visitors feel comfortable riding in Tucson — whether it is their first time on an e-bike or their first visit to the Tucson Loop.

Rebecca often helps riders:
