Directions to HoneyBee Canyon/Bigwash Trail Alternate Entry Point
- Start on the Tucson Loop bike path directly starting behind the Holiday Inn Express. You will enjoy a 15 minute ride (3.7 miles) going north.
Bike NORTH on The Loop!
- North past the bridge, past Oro Valley Marketplace
Go over bridge, past Oro Marketplace
- Take The Loop north and you will cross over the bridge then go PAST the Oro Valley Marketplace. You will eventually take a hard left to stay on the loop, going north.
Take a LEFT, going north
Stay on Loop. It will swing north
- Then continue to go north on the loop you’ll see the hospital on the right.
Continue north…BE LOOKING for trail entry on left where you see yellow arrow and rocks on ground.
- keep your eyes peeled for the entry on the left hand side you’ll see a yellow spray painted arrow.. ribbons and rock formation as well.
Take a left here!
- Take a LEFT, follow the trail to the sign.
Bike straight…see the sign…take HARD RIGHT!
Take a right, go towards bridge. Prepare to take a LEFT going under bridge.
- Then take A RIGHT, going TOWARDS THE BRIDGE. You will take a LEFT STAYING UNDER THE BRIDGE, going through a squishy zone – all the way to the trail. Follow our photos.
NOTE – Notice ribbons and bales of hay as markers.
Go towards bridge
Go to bridge. Take a left, going UNDER the bridge. Follow bales of straw.
Keep going…be looking to take a right. Look for ribbons…yellow arrows…bales of straw.
Take a right
Take a right…follow the trail.
Look for trail entry ahead!
Enjoy Honey Bee Canyon.
